A Short Story Telling

find it”

Standing on the platform in
Hyderabad of Telangana to board a train which is my most preferable mode of
transport as it gives an opportunity to introspect and think something about
future which elevates one’s personality and gives a lot of scope for interaction
with people. My journey is headed to Dehradun. I still remember the journey to
the same destination 12 years ago headed to join MBA College from my hometown
where I did my graduation after a few days of stay at home after my two years
of professional career looking for greater heights in my career. Joining UPES
gave me most of my first experiences, the new experiences range from most
simple to life changing experiences. I made many friends, met great individuals
and started exploring my limits by devoting my entire potential by learning
something in each and every interaction.
Time passed by, one year went
like a blink of the eye. I have made my mind in a segment of the Indian Power
Sector which I found would well suit my capabilities and identified a firm
which is known for its excellence in the sector and luckily I got into the same
firm for the 2-month Internship and headed for the college looking for campus
placements. I was somewhat stressed to face the interviews because I was
thinking whether I would be able to cracking the Interview and would I be able
to justify the skills, grades I have, at that time I have realized that getting
high grades like 9.5/10 is not only a thing of pride but also a challenge to
justify. Though I faced rejections in one or two firms I quickly regained my
strength and made myself strong before the next opportunity and eventually
landed in to the company which I have dreamed after knowing the sector and did
my internship.
Today I was invited by the
College to accept the award for the Entrepreneur of the year. It was all
possible with all the experiences I got from the College. Academic knowledge
was not only the addition to my life in fact, it was the personal learning I
would give more weightage. It was all possible because of the diversity which I
was exposed to at that time and my pressure handling which I have learnt acting
as the Class Representative managing around 60 students.
